THE SODA SHOP - "Shock Radar’s newest release, Generator EP, has just come out a few short days ago. I’ve had some time to sink my teeth into it and I like what I hear. The EP opens up with an ambient and experimental instrumental track with a few electronica spots throughout as it progresses. This leads right into “In The Land of Vinyl” which is an ode to vinyl. “In the land of vinyl, the collector is right.” Next up is “Generator.” The track is a bit mellower and slower paced. “Recon” has a bit of an experimental flavor to it mixed with a little psychedelic rock. “Perfect Cubes” is an instrumental/experimental track to close out this EP. I love the sound of this EP. Lee Diamond’s vocals really shine in a Chris Cornell way. This album is a bit more experimental than previous material but it’s a natural progression, something that I think the band can play around with some more and take it further from where they’re at. The EP is available now for download through Bandcamp for $5. It’s worth more then that if you ask me. Go get yours NOW!" (Chicago)
UNDER THE HOOF - "you get hit with like vox that are make you think chris cornell jumped on the track and then some of the vox reminds me of the singer of the french stoner band mars red sky while all the time being hit with great drums and guitars that just keep driving the music along." (Maryland)

THE SLUDGELORD - "Shock Radar are super fucking talented. Their is no denying that. Their newest release "Generator EP" is an absolute blast of top-notch Stoner Rock riffs with a great Art-Rock vibe. This is experimental Stoner Rock at its most finest. Some great vibes running through out this great release. Especially on tracks like "In The Land Of Vinyl" and "Generator". Seriously I couldn't get enough of this great band. The vocals are another highlight that have a slight Chris Cornell vibe to them. Its brilliantly produced and shows a great band to look out for. Thank Fuck the world of Stoner Rock/Metal has artists like Shock Radar to shake things up a bit. Highly Recommended." (England)
WELCOME TO THE VOID - "In March this year they released their new EP called Generator which contains 5 tracks. I can say that the EP pleasantly surprised, especially tracks like'' In The Land Of Vinyl'' and'' Generator'' forced me each time I step to the repeat. The music that follows is the psych Art Rock enriched with some stoner psigmata. Dyo things perissoterto mainly won by the music of the band, the is a very good guitar work done, with some tunes to embellish sensitive mental strings and my second is very good vocals which in turn give them a magic in the final sonic result." STONER HIVE - "Almost everyone will probably have already checked these guys out after the massive Spam action a week or two ago and all the other blogs featuring this band. But there’s nothing wrong with trying to garner some attention for ones band; and certainly not when it has such an intense floating riff action going on as Shock Radar. Hailing from the Big Apple the driving force behind the foursome is Lee Diamond, a versatile artist who also lend a helping hand to bands such as Stabbing Westward, The Verve and The Slits. On their new EP Generator they seem to translate the Californian stoner atmosphere to a kind of big city industrial structured rock sound which incorporates some grunge elements and some psychedelic pop influences. Mostly though they seem to become a weird kind of mix of something Trent Reznor might do when working with the guys from Soundgarden and recording in the High Desert. It feels like a heatwave pummeling an old abandoned mining town. No escape offered and no escape possible; you just have ride it out…" (California)
STONERANDMORE - "Shock Radar is quite impossible to deny the originality and freshness of their music that renews clearly the kind. While listening to their latest EP "Generator" found some Stoner Rock riffs but the magic of the compositions comes from the combination of different instruments including synths and guitars not to mention the quality of the singing - with delicacy and finesse . Even if the entire discography can be confusing to some that is deviates from purely rock horizons to other jazz rock (some songs reminds me of the spirit of Frank Zappa) or Pop Rock, I recommend it anyway to go and ask your ears: You may be surprised by both originality and inspiration. Difficult to name all the songs that I was amazed by their beauty - it is true that the qualities of creativity of the man are really staggering - but I propose to share here some of my favorites: 'In the Land of Vinyl' heady psychedelic stoner anthem, 'Recon' with sounds reminiscent of King's X, 'Two Lane Blacktop' sounding vintage revival, 'Z inventor' to beautiful guitar melodies and the beautiful acoustic 'Healer'."
